Vice President's Report

Bass Club Members:

First I want to thank all of the clubs that participated in the boat raffle. All in all we had a good year considering all of the turmoil and confusion. The clubs should be getting their part of the raffle as soon as the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and the gamming commission sort things out.

The Best Six Tournament turned out to be an outstanding event. With the help of the board and other volunteers the event went very smoothly. There is always room for improvement and if you have any suggestions or complaints or comments please contact any one on the board. This is the A.L.B.C.’s tournament and is for the members of the Association.

There were 90 teams that participated in the first Best Six and hope more cubs will be there next year. Plans as it stand are to have the Best Six again at the end of April next year. A lot of fish were caught and released back into the lake. Again I want to thank the clubs that participated. The Louisiana Bass Cats were the winners of the team raffle boat. And Tammy Johnston of Houma was the winner of the public Raffle Boat.

The boats are expected to be in around July of this year. Your District director’s have a boat raffle request. Make plans to get the boat and get the raffle request to me as soon as possible.

Festivals and boat shows will have preference and I need to know as soon as possible of these dates.

The Kid’s tournaments are coming up in June. Please try to help and participate. These are the bass masters of the future. We should help them all that we can.

Until next time Good Luck and Good Fishing!!!
.
