The Bounty Hunters held their 11th tournament for 2004. The location
was the vast waters of the Atchafalaya Basin. Tournament hours
on Saturday were safe daylight until 300pm. Fishing reports from
the Basin had been good however a rise on the Atchafalaya Basin
the previous week had club members concerned.
Anglers were greeted with a dense fog at daylight and take off
was held up for over one hour. Good water was hard to come by.
Most fish were caught on soft plastics like the Zoom Brush Hog.
The final results were:
1st Place |
Jimmy Breau |
3 Bass |
6.69 lbs. |
2nd Place |
Alvin Kent |
3 Bass |
5.76 lbs |
3rd Place |
Scott Hill |

5.51 lbs. |
| Big Bass: Jimmy Breau 2.31 lbs. |
Turned out to be a beautiful day on the water. With football
season and Hunting season in full swing the waterways have cleared
out. Great time to be on the water.
Fall is here. The Club would like to again remind all fishermen
to practice water safety and for all of you venturing into the
woods please practice firearm safety.
See you on the water.
